Jefferson County Public Library is very excited to introduce a new program that families are going to love! With your JCPL library card you now have access to Playaway Launchpads!
Launchpads are pre-loaded with content for kids. They are easy to use and so secure, they are made to be passed from one library patron to another.
Here are the details:
- They can be checked out for 3 weeks, are holdable and renewable.
- There is a limit of 3 Launchpads per card.
- The replacement cost is $150. (So be sure to not lose them!)
- Available at all JCPL locations.
- These tablets don't do anything but what they're preloaded to do. No internet, no email, no YouTube, no nothing. These guys are safe and secure, mom!
JCPL is thrilled to offer this new format to their small patrons. The are available now, so stop in to check them out!
