October 25, 2023

Colorado Adventure Point (CAP) first opened its doors to the community in 2015. This 20,000-square-foot Scouting and community adventure education facility and the programs and equipment offered are designed to help support and promote essential skills and a love of adventure. You'll find a two-story rock-climbing wall, archery range, air rifle range, technology lab, culinary lab, sustainability lab, and so much more.

The adventures to be had at CAP are endless and available to the community. Whether you are looking for state standard-backed programs or unique and tailored activities, one of their labs, classrooms, or design centers is equipped with everything you need or might imagine.

They strive to create life-long learners through the modality of experiential education and positive growth. They prioritize inclusion and are open to everyone, always endeavoring to exceed the expectations of those they work with.

They provide Scouting programs, field trips for schools and other organizations, birthday parties, and open Adventure Days where there is no upper age limit and is open to the public. Looking for an overnight for your group? They offer that as well and it may even include roasting some marshmallows over a campfire!

Colorado Adventure Point is available to organizations and Scout groups including schools, home school families, churches, daycare centers, youth advocacy groups, businesses, and the community at large.

CAP also offers a STEM curriculum to educate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and will be offering a Holiday STEAM Camp 2023! You'll want to check out their website to view all of the fun and educational opportunities they offer!

Colorado Adventure Point is located at 10455 W 6th Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado (720) 266-2143.
