I am! So I've rounded up my family's choices, and with the help of some local colleagues, together we've compiled our top five breakfast spots in the Arvada, Golden & Wheat Ridge areas, along with the reasons why we think they are the best. I've listed them in alphabetical order:
Cafe 13
1301 Arapahoe St, Golden; (303) 278-2225
Hours: Open Sunday through Wednesday 6:30-6pm and Thursday - Sat 6:30-10pm
What we love: Cafe 13 is locally owned and recently remodeled to enlarge the kitchen, add a full bar, and create a better flow and feel for customers. I'm in love with the House Made Biscuits & Gravy and kids are often happy sharing the Waffle Plate.
Global Goods
5613 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada; (720)389-9030
Hours: Mon - Sat 6:30am-5pm
What we love: With its twofold nature - coffee and global goods - every sip of coffee and every purchase of artisan handicrafts offers you the opportunity to extend your reach globally at Global Goods & Coffee. Specialty coffees along with delicious pastries and breakfast burritos makes for a fun quick (and yummy) breakfast.
Launch Espresso Food & Spirits

Hours: Open 7 days a week 6am-8pm
What we love: Launch serves healthy grab-and-go foods, superlative espresso, charcuterie boards and (for later in the day) sips of local spirits after a tough climb or before seeing your favorite Red Rocks band. Item to try: Avocado Toast and First Lift Burrito
Red Silo Coffee Roaster
6590 Holman St. Suite #207, Arvada; (720) 758-9006
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-5pm, Saturday 7am-5pm, Sunday 7am-3pm
What we love: If you are looking for truly great coffee, Red Silo Coffee Roasters is the place to visit. They proudly serve gluten free baked good and pride themselves with offering the community a cozy gathering place.
Steuben's Arvada

Hours: Open every day at 8am
What we love: Steuben's is a classic cafe with a modern diner flair and the perfect place to sit and relax. My favorite breakfast item is the Lemon Ricotta Pancake and the kids love everything on their special menu - especially the Milk Flight, offering their own fancy tastes of three flavored milks. Must try the Avocado Toast.
Sunrise Sunset

Hours: Open 6:30am-2Pm
What we love: Serving up Lakewood’s best since 1984, Sunrise Sunset offers unique breakfast and lunch creations made with fresh ingredients and served with a smile.
