How I am Getting My Energy Back! My Jenny Craig Journey

I just completed my first week on the Jenny Craig program and I am feeling fabulous. Before changing my habits, I didn’t realize how depleted of energy I was. Last week, by the end of the day, I would dread having to get dinner started for my family. I just wanted to slump on the couch with a bag of potato chips. 

After only one week on the program I am already noticing an increase in energy, which in all honesty, is giving me a new outlook on life. I’m no longer experiencing a tough transition from work duty to begin taking care of my family and little things like taking the dogs out to play are no longer a chore. I'm a happier momma to be around!

The Jenny Craig program provides me with three meals and two snacks each day plus a detailed menu to help me stay fueled -- the right way -- throughout the entire day.  I know that eating healthy foods regularly is playing a big part, but my Coach Ashely, who I meet each week at a Jenny Craig at Walgreens center*, has encouraged me to implement other changes that are making a difference too.  

My Jenny Craig Program encourages me to:

  • Map out my day’s meals
  • Drink a lot more water
  • Eat more fruit and vegetables
  • Exercise daily
  • Get more (quality) sleep

These simple changes along with the well balanced meals that Jenny Craig provides are already making a difference in my life. I am confident that these steps will help me reach my weight loss goals and keep them where I want them to be in the future. I am counting week #1 as a success!
