If you're looking for a summer evening that feels both magical and memorable, Bright Nights at Four Mile Historic Park delivers in the most spectacular way. This immersive lantern festival transforms 12 acres of historic grounds into a glowing wonderland, perfect for a family night out. We just wrapped up our visit and we're absolutely glowing from the experience.
Our visit to Bright Nights at Four Mile was hosted, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to experience and share this magical evening with our community.

From the moment we stepped through the towering tunnel of illuminated Chinese fairies, my kids were enchanted. The larger-than-life lanterns, glowing walkways, and interactive elements kept them engaged from start to finish. It’s a full experience, not just a walk-through, and every twist and turn brought something new and exciting.

This year’s experience includes themed zones like Farmhouse Flora and Fauna, a dreamy Chinese Dreamland, and an expanded interactive zone that’s a total hit with kids (and yes, grownups too!). My boys couldn’t get enough of the lit up swings or the bright light dance floor. The wheat farm, bamboo forest, and gooseberry tunnel made it feel like we were wandering through a glowing storybook.

And the music? Incredible. There was a a live DJ paired with a violinist, and it was hands-down one of the most magical moments of the night. The energy was electric we could have danced under those lanterns for hours.
The food was also a standout. The churros were an instant hit with our kids (and us too!), and the BBQ from Big Belly Brother’s was delicious and served quickly, even with long lines. The staff working the food and glow-toy stations were efficient and kind, helping keep things moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed.
One of the biggest highlights for me personally was the wonderful staff throughout the park. Every person we interacted with, from ticketing to food to the person giving directions, was friendly, warm, and genuinely invested in making the night special. You could tell they cared about creating a great experience for every guest.
Whether you’re looking for a family night out, a magical date night, or a fun evening with friends, Bright Nights is truly a can’t-miss experience!
