The City of Wheat Ridge is proud to host the annual Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting! Step into a winter wonderland and embrace the joyous spirit of the holiday season at the City of Wheat Ridge's Holiday Celebration!
This family friendly event offers an abundance of holiday-themed activities including roaming carolers, arts and crafts, refreshments, photos with Santa, the annual tree-lighting ceremony and more!
We have a very special guest joining us all the way from the North Pole for this year’s Holiday Celebration! Santa will arrive at the Recreation Center at 3 p.m. for seated photos.
Photos with Santa are free to our community members and will be done on a first come first serve basis. To see Santa you must have a ticket! Tickets will be available outside of Activity Room 2 beginning 2:45 p.m. We will do our best to serve as many families as possible for a seated photo, but unfortunately in order to get Santa back to his workshop on time, we cannot meet the demand for a seated picture for the entire community. We encourage you to arrive at the event early to give you the best chance possible to secure a ticket for a seated Santa picture. If you arrive and no tickets are available, don’t worry! There will be several more festive photo opportunities throughout the event.
